Did you know that The Woodsmith's Store is more than simply a knowlegeable supplier of tools, books and devices for traditional woodland craft?
Many people know of our long experience running traditional woodland craft courses at our workshop within the Beamish Museum Estate in Co. Durham. However what is not so well known is that for the past 4 years we have taken our expertise in running these types of courses to eastern Norway where we now have a base in one of the most stunning mountainous areas on the planet. Apart from the the fantastic location Norway has one of the richest traditions and culture of woodcraft
We are currently planning the course programme for 2012. Course fees include tuition and materials, fantastic home cooked meals and comfortable tent accommodation. All you need to do is get yourself there, normally via plane and train. We may be able to advise on the best routes.
