Oak Swill Basket, 22" standard
So well crafted and beautiful some people don't use them, but that would be a crime. We use ours to carry logs from the logstore to stoveside. Like most baskets they are functional carriers of 'stuff', tools, wool, bread etc.
Product Description
Standard size traditional oak swill basket, made from cumbrian coppiced oak. Made by Owen Jones, currently the only full time professional swill basket maker in the UK. Handles built into each end.
Product Specification
With a bool (rim) of coppiced hazel, the rest is made from thin laths of coppiced oak. Approx size 22" x 18" and 8" deep
