Additional notes
Some charcoal burners recycle ferterliser sacks but these sacks have a wide opening which allows enough room for the charcoal fork when emptying the kiln.
Whilst charcoal can be quite sharp and damaging, these sacks are thick enough and strong enough to last a very long time. Also because they are 1200mm long they can be folded over to prevent the charcoal getting wet if it rains when kilns are bing emptied. We recomend filling each sack with no more than about 12kg
