Pole Lathe Kit
A Pole Lathe is used to turn green wood, typically to make chair components, rounders bats and kitchen ware etc.
Product Description
This kit provides most of the raw materials you will need to build your own pole lathe, including all the planed hardwood, rough sawn softwood and metal ware for the centres. Some basic woodwork skill required.
It excludes a springy pole and shock cord side supports. We will endeavour to supply the natural fork for the treadle, but sometimes these are not available.
Product Specification
Softwood for the A-frame legs and planed hardwood (usually ash) for the bed, heads, wedges etc. Metalware includes bolts for the bed, metal centers one of which is an adjustable crank and all screws.
When available, the treadle will be a natural fork.

Generally we assemble these pole kits to order, so may take upto 2 weeks for delivery, let us know if you need it quicker.
Basic woodworking skills and tools required to build. Should take about one or two days to complete.
