A small, fairly light, handed carving axe with an aysymetric grind. The red beech handle is exquisit and the long carved facets running the full length of the handle provide better rotational control. For right handed use.
I have this axe myself and find it complements the Large Swedish Carving Axe very well, great where you don't need a lot of weight in the head. If you want something a little more versitile and suitable for right or left handed use then go for the Middle Carving Axe, Double sided sharpened

Head weighs 1Ibs has a 3" face and comes with a 13.5" red beech handle without the Gransfors Bruks logo. Comes with the Axe Book, a grain leather sheath and a 20 year guarentee
Additional notes
Great in the hand, lightweight carving axe. The head is based on a standard Wildlife Hatchet except it has a single bevel on the right hand side therefore for right handed use. This is definitly one of our favourites
