We use these for finer work in preparing spoon blanks, a good travelling axe where space is at a premium. Under close supervision, an axe that younger wood workers could use to build up skills.

Very small axe with a narrow blade. Red beech handle provides extra control for fine accurate work. Aysymetrical grind, this one is suitable for right handed users only

Total weight 12oz, 26cms long, edge 2.5"long, handcarved red beech handle, with no Gransfors Bruks logo. Comes with a grain leather sheath, the Axe book and a 20 year guarentee

Beautiful carved red beech handle, worth having in your tool box even if never use it, but that would criminal! The head is same as the standard small hatchet except it has a single bevel on the right hand side, so only suitable for right-handed users. Left handed version also in stock
