Same head as the Large Splitting Axe but with the longer straight handle of the Splitting Maul, this one is 31" long compared to the standard Large Splitting Axe at 27" long.

The poll on this axe is not designed for use as a sledge hammer like the Splitting Maul. Head weighs 3 1/2lbs, the face is 3" and the hickory handle is 31" long. Comes with a grain-leather sheath and The Axe Book
