Great for low angle planing cuts on large timbers
Product Description
This broad axe is based on an old Swedish pattern, with space between the blades beard for the user's fingers. Bevelled on the right side only, and forged to the left therefore this one is for right handed user. Also available forged to the right for left handed usres as a special order.
Product Specification
Heads weighs 3Ibs,with a 7" face, 20" 'straight' (no swell knob) hickory handle. Comes with a grain leather sheath and the Axe Book
Additional notes
Some may consider this axe a side axe, but technically it isn't because although the left hand side is not bevelled, the side of the head still has the swelling for the handle
