Carving Gouges
We are very pleased to add a small selection of carving gouges from Swedish Tool makers Hans Karlsson. Probably some of the best made tools anywhere.
We stock gouges that have a significant role to play in green woodworking and traditional woodland craft.
Sometimes the same gouge can be used for a variety of tasks such as roughing-out on a pole lathe and spoon and bowl carving. At a roundwood timber framing course I joined a few years ago they were very useful where the roundwood merged into the tenon. Gransfors Gutter adzes would also have been useful.
