Large, robust curved carving gouge, one of the largest we have seen, with quite a large sweep. Sharp and ready to use.

This is an Alongee Pattern gouge; the blade splays all the way from from the shoulder towards the cutting edge.

Additional notes

We have not tried this gouge ourselves yet, but it appears to be a very dynamic tool (could require a dynamic person to use it also!), can definitly see a role for this tool in the world of woodland craft. Remember, curved carving gouges should only be pushed by hand pressure.
