Good for general greenwood duties, typically shaving billets round ready to go on the pole lathe or shaving components down for riven gates. Mainly used in conjunction with a shave horse or other holding device

Medium sized drawknife with beech handles cranked slightly out. Made in the UK by Ray Iles
Product Specification
Edge length 8", made from 01 high carbon tool steel, beech handles are 4" long with brass ferrules. Edge comes slightly hollow ground and will need a final hone
Additional notes
Well made drawknife by Ray Iles. Good control possible using bevel down. We like this one very much. Lightly oiled handles build up a very pleasing patina with use.
Don't forget sheaths in either split or veg tan leather are available for this tool
