Small froe, blade 5 1/2" long, straight eye, i.e. not tapered as in the larger Ray Iles froe.
Product Specification
5 1/2" blade in high carbon steel '01', tapered blade, parallel sided eye. No handle on this one!
Additional notes
Not to be used on anything bigger than material such as 6-7 year old hazed rods. The handle you fit should be no longer than about 10". When making the handle for this froe it is best to turn a shoulder so the top of the eye sits on this and wedge it from the other side, this way when you push the froe into the wood it can't come loose.
