Holds beson heads, normally coppice grown birch, whilst being bound tightly, prior to handle being fitted. Suitable for the making of medium size besoms

A foot operated device that holds besom heads tightly whilst being bound with a natural binding or more likley a wire tie
We have made a few small improvements to our besom clamp, the part that grips the birch / heather now forms a circle when clamped, also a little smaller as a result of popular demand to better suit medium sized besoms.
Product Specification
Made from stong steel stock, fixes with screws (not supplied) to a bench.

Made specially for the Woodsmith's Store. Needs to be fixed to the left hand side of a work bench
