Over the last few years we have tried some of the conventional bowl turning tools currently available to turn green wood on a pole lathe. The tools listed here all work in slightly different ways. Our favorites are Ben Orfords Bowl Hooks and the Ashley Iles Bowl Gouge with a finger nail grind
