Produces accuratly sized dowel type material, we have used them to good effect to produce tenons for stool/chair legs but walking stick makers also like them

Wooden bodied rounder with 2" curved spokeshave iron, produces 1/2" dia. stock
Product Specification
Made from beech, 9" long with thick curved spokeshave iron. Lightly oiled with linseed oil
Additional notes
Working with a slightly oversize round (in this case just over 1/2 in.), fixed in a vice, rotate the plane down like you would a thread tap
