Handmade in very small numbers. This tool may look a bit agricultural at first, but truely, it works very well indeed. Maker Tom Thackray is an experienced chairmaker who makes these because it is not at all easy finding these traditional tools, if at all.
Like a wooden spokeshave the cutting angle is low, so a chatter free action is easy to achieve. Comfortable in the hand
