Ashley Iles Twybil
Removes the waste bridge of wood between two drilled holes in round ended mortices, typically in cleft gates. After the holes are drilled at either end of the mortice, the 'beak' end of the twybil is used to lever out the short grained bridge of wood between the two holes, then the tool is reversed to clean up the sides of the mortice. More of a knife than a chisel.
Product Description
