This site is owned and operated by M. Pyle (Woodsmith). Please read the following terms conditions carefully. By accessing and making orders on this site you are agreeing to the terms and conditions that appear below.
These terms and conditions apply only to the use of The Woodsmith’s Store website. If you do not agree with the terms and conditions do not use this website.
We will not sell knives to anyone under the age of 17. We may require proof of age.
Ordering: All orders can be placed online through this website. Please do not e-mail your card details; we cannot be responsible for the security of your details if given this way. All orders are subject to availability.
Payment Method: You can pay with most major credit and debit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, VisaElectron and Maestro. If you want to pay by cheque or postal order please ring or e-mail to arrange, we may wait for a cheque to clear before dispatching goods.
The Woodsmith’s Store can take no responsibility for incorrect or incomplete details submitted on the website. Orders submitted without complete information cannot be processed. Card fraud is illegal and perpetrators will be prosecuted.
Out of Stock: If you have chosen an out of stock item you will be contacted via your e-mail address and given an estimation of delivery times. If you have ordered several items and we are able to dispatch only part of the order we will e-mail you to inform you of the position.
Pricing: The Woodsmith’s Stores products are priced in pounds sterling, prices include VAT at 17.5%, books are VAT exempt, when you buy gift vouchers you do not pay VAT on that transaction but when vouchers are redeemed the VAT will be included. VAT is chargable on P+P
Delivery: Goods will be delivered as stated in our delivery information section on this website. We undertake to keep you informed of variations to the stated delivery times
Return of goods: Goods can be returned for a full refund including delivery charges if they are faulty or simply not the item ordered within 14 days of receipt of the goods.
If the goods have been dispatched as ordered, but are unwanted due to their description on the website being incorrect or misleading, then they can be returned for a refund including delivery charges within 14 days of receipt of goods.
If the goods are returned for any other reason the carriage charges will not be refunded and a handling charge of 10% of the product cost will be charged and deducted from the cost of the sale. Please note: returned goods must be unused, have the original packing and accompanied by the original invoice or delivery note. This does not affect you statutory rights as a consumer. The card used for the purchase of goods will be credited with the original purchase amount less any delivery and handling fee where appropriate.
Cancellation Policy: We aim to meet The Distance Selling Regulations and subject to the provisions of our returns policy above, every customer has the right to cancel their order within 7 days of receiving the goods.
